Oh, it's just something I made

I graduated from college in 2008. The job market was at it's worst, especially for someone with a Marketing degree. Those aren't popular and not everyone has a Marketing degree, right? Well, after I graduated I was sure I would never wait tables again. I have a degree for heavens sakes. No, I would never have to be extra nice to people when what they really needed was for me to tell them exactly where they could go. I would be able to find a great job yesterday...

Things change. I changed, for the better I think. And, I am waiting tables again, not necessarily out of necessity, but more out of I Want To Have Extra Cash So I Am Going To Swallow My Pride And Do Something For My Family.

I picked up a part-time job at a local sea food restaurant near my Grandparents. Things seem to be working out pretty well so far. Well, I showed up for my first day on the job and found out an apron would not supplied to me. I borrowed an apron from a lady that I work with, the fabric was similar to this...
Not your thing? Not mine either! As a personal preference, I don't like graphic material, fabric, shirts, sheets, pillows, etc. And especially horses!
Wearing the horse-i-fied apron wasn't the end of the world, so I made it through a 4 hour shift and went straight home and promptly started to work on an apron that I would stand.

This is what I came up with!

Wouldn't you just KILL to have me wait on you? I know I would. Total hotness...

It was surprisingly easy to make. I learned a few things to do next time, but all in all the easiest "garment" I have ever made.

  1. Good for you girl! If my husband worked a normal schedule I have debated doing something a little extra for some cash flow! Please tell me you didn't hand sew that apron!
