Snow!

Dear Riley,

It snowed today.  It doesn’t snow often around East Texas, so when it does we have to take advantage. Your Daddy wanted to take you out in the snow during the snow storm. I made him wait a little while before we ventured out into the blistering cold. I hate the cold!

You and your Daddy had a snow ball fight and built a snowman. You were scared of the 12 inch creature, though, and didn’t go near him. You also ate lots of snow.

It’s funny, to be so little and not to have experienced that many climate in your life, you knew exactly what the white, powdery substance falling from the sky was. It did snow about a year ago, but you weren’t even two then.
